The screams of pain echoed through the room, mingling with the scent of fear that hung thick in air. I stood before the man , my gaze cold and unyielding as i demanded answers.
"Tell me who do you work for ?" I growled, my voice laced with menace
The man remained silent, his eyes wide with terror as he stared back at me . I felt a surge of satisfaction at the fear i saw reflected in his gaze
I took a step forward, the metal of screwdriver glinting menacingly in the dim light . Without hesitation , i twisted it into his thigh , relishing in the agonized scream that tore from his lips. Tears streaming down his face mingling with sweat and blood that coated his skin.
"Mexicans," he finally gasped out, his voice barely above a whisper.
I raised an eyebrow , impressed by his resilience. "Was it really worth it?" I mused aloud, my tone mocking.
With a swift motion, i rose to my feet and removed the ropes binding him. "I'll give you ten seconds to make a run for your life,"I said, a cruel smile playing at the corners of my lips.
The man wasted no time , scrambling to his feet and darting towards the door with desperate urgency. But as his hand closed around the doorknob, i raised my gun and fired, the deafening crack of the gunshot reverberating through the room.
"You gripped the doorknob at damn 11th sec," I remarked dryly, my voive dripping with derision
With a satisfied smirk , I turned and left the room ,leaving behind the a lifeless body of a man who dared to cross me . In my world there was no room for mercy or second chances. And as i walked away, i knew that anyone foolish enough to stand in my way would meet the same fate .
I checked my phone and cursed under my breath as i realized I was running late .
ELENA must have already left for her college by now. It had become a routine for me , these clandestine observations of hers. For over a month I had been shadowing her every move , unseen and unnoticed
Knowing i was already late , i made a beeline for her college , parking my car a bit farther so i could observe her without drawing attention to myself. It was a delicate act, maintaining my distance while keeping her in my sight, but i had become adept at the art of surveillance
I waited in the shadows, my eyes fixed on the entrance gate. And then, there she was—Tesoro, radiant and beautiful as ever. My heart skipped a beat at the sight of her, a surge of longing coursing through my veins. She wore her usual attire, a casual ensemble that hugged her curves in all the right places. Even in the dim light, she was a vision of perfection, her beauty a beacon in the darkness. But as she reached the entrance gate, I noticed a furrow of concern marring her brow. Something was amiss, and I couldn't shake the feeling that I was the cause of her distress. For some time now, Tesoro had been on edge, as if she could sense my presence lurking in the shadows. It both thrilled and terrified me, knowing that she was aware of my watchful gaze.
Feeling my gaze on her, she rushed inside the campus. A smile curled my lips at her sweet action. Every move she made was adorable, a captivating dance that held me in thrall.I sank back into the seat of my car, my mind drifting back to the first time I met her. It was her voice that had first caught my attention, a soft melody that had pierced through the noise of the crowded room. That day, a strange feeling had settled in my chest—a possessive certainty that she was meant to be mine.Lost in the memory, I barely registered the ringing of my phone until it pulled me back to the present. Reluctantly, I answered, my eyes still fixed on the spot where she had disappeared."Enzo," a voice on the other end said, snapping me back to reality. "We have a situation."I sighed, the smile fading from my lips. Duty called, and as much as I hated to leave my Tesoro, I had responsibilities that demanded my attention."I'll be there soon," I replied, my voice cold and efficient. Hanging up the call I sighed
Knowing now that she would be in her campus for 4 to 5 hours, I decided to go back and handle some of my work. After a long day, I resolved to visit Elena's house. It had become a habit of mine to go there and observe her every movement.
I reached her house just in time to see Elena and her friend leaving. They were on foot, which meant they weren't going far. I followed my Tesoro, to wherever she was going
They eventually entered a club. As luck would have it, it was one of the clubs I owned. A smirk played on my lips. It seemed fate was on my side tonight. I parked my car and pulled my hood over my head, blending into the shadows as I slipped inside. My hood covered my face, ensuring I remained unseen.
From the darkness, I watched them make their way to the bar. Elena's presence lit up the room, her beauty outshining the dim lights and smoky haze. I couldn't take my eyes off her.
From my vantage point, I could see everything. The club was my domain, and tonight, she was the queen of my dark kingdom. I watched as a man approached her on the dance floor, a surge of possessiveness flaring in my chest.
No one else had the right to touch her, to even look at her. She was mine, even if she didn't know it yet. I kept my eyes on them, my blood boiling as he pulled her close.
As he pulled her close, my blood started boiling. Controlling my anger , i gulped down some drinks . The man bent down his head, digging down it into my tesoro's neck . He said something to her, which i guessed was asking her to leave with him. He leaned for a kiss .
At this point, i lost my control. I pulled out my gun and shot him right in the head . The silencer of my gun muffled the sound, but as his lifeless body fell to the floor, everyone in the club started panicking. A smirk curled my lips at the thought that I killed this bastard even before he could kiss my entity.
I moved towards my VIP room and told the manager to sort things efficiently. I sat there for some time , my mind replaying the scene over and over . The chaos outside was a distant hum compared to the satisfaction i felt. No fucking one can touches what's mine .
Sofia calmed Elena, and after a while, Elena stood up, ready to leave. My manager took pretty good care of Elena and her friend as I had instructed. I can't see my Tesoro in any kind of mess.
As they were about to leave, I called out to the manager and told him to send them with my driver in my car. Elena is tired, shocked, and probably panicked by what happened earlier, and I can't take the risk of letting her go on her own in this situation.
They initially refused to go with my driver, but my man managed to convince them by explaining that it happened in our club and it's their duty to ensure their safety until they reach home. Eventually, they agreed and left.
I'll check on her later.
